Dynamic Date – Updater

It is 2017 update with a Dynamic Date

A dynamic date in your footer that changes automatically is essential for your website. It is important to keep your website up-to-date as it is one of the first things that a user will notice. Keeping up-to-date is as simple as having a date and copyright notice in the footer that updates automatically.

The website with the 2003 copyrights year in the footer reminds users that your website has not been updated for years, even if this is not the case. In order to future proof  your website use the following code (see screenshot).

In Adobe Muse you can add this as a code snippet in the HTML editor.

<script type="text/javascript"> document.write(new Date().getFullYear());</script>
