There seems to be and insatiable appetite for these materials. E-waste includes everything from discarded electronic devices such as TVs, smartphones, monitors. Typically contain toxic materials such as cadmium, Mercury and cannot be safely dumped in landfills. With built redundancy built into most devices disposing of these old devices is not easy. Fortunately, my local council has a drop off centre. I was surprised that a large shipping container is used and it almost always gets filled.
