Visual diary with Evernote and Press Reader

I have a subscription to Press Reader which affords me the opportunity to read magazines from all around the world.   One of activities that I enjoyed when I studied Graphic Design was the practice of keeping a ‘visual diary’.

A visual diary is important because it inspires creativity, it preserves design of the past, and enables me to keep in touch with the design profession.  In a way my blog is a replacement for the traditional paper visual diary.

“The visual diary acts as a method to facilitate the collection, recording, reflection of ideas, data and design.”

I use Evernote clipping extension on my Chrome browser so that I can clip inspirational photography and design.  I use keywords to organise the clips so that I can access them with ease.
