WooRank is a search engine optimisation tool that performs a fast, comprehensive audit of your website and can detect and list on the page and off page factors that are crucial to SEO success. The audit report that is generated gives the user a detailed analysis of the mobile and desktop optimisation and usability factors for your website.

The report is generated with a focus on three main categories; Optimise Promote Measure.

1. Optimise.

Optimise section of the report focuses on several different areas. SEO techniques are set up by your web designer or developer usually in the back-end area of your website. WooRank lets you know if among other things there is a ‘title tag’ and if so is it the correct length. The report will provide suggestions on how to make your title tag clear, concise and include the most important keywords. The ‘Meta description’ is a self-contained organic advertisement for your webpage. It is the words that are often used to describe your page as it is viewed in a Google search. Some of the other criteria that are used to evaluate your website is the number of broken links, XML sitemap (do you have one), underscores in your URL’s (this is a bad thing).

2. Promote

Promote section refers to how well the marketing of your website is performing on your website. For example, what is your ‘Backlinks Score’ like when viewed in comparison to your competitors? The backlink score is calculated by looking at a combination of link signals. Backlink score includes the overall number of backlinks, how often your website is mentioned on other sites. As well as a quality assessment of these backlinks. The Promote section considers other engagement and marketing channels specifically social media engagement. Is your website integrated with Facebook or Google, LinkedIn, Pinterest or StumbleUpon? Finally, does your site have visibility within local directories such as Yelp, True Local etc

3. Measure

Measure is concerned mainly with the metrics of your website. Is your website connected to Google Analytics or a similar type of analytical tool. The report will provide estimations of the traffic to your site. There will also be some statistical data concerning session time that examines visits and new visits. The report produced recommends and identifies gaps in your measurement capabilities and provides information on what to do to improve performance.

Search engine optimisation is mostly the process that goes on behind the scenes of your website. You may have the best-looking website, however, if your site is not optimised correctly, then it defeats the purpose of having one. Woorank is an excellent product that I have been using for the last four years and helps me quickly identify the SEO issues that I am to resolve on your Site.
