Visual design is at work everywhere around us. It gives shapes and form to the books we read, the posters we see and the road signs that we pass on the streets. At Bailey Street design I use the same visual design principles I learned as a graphic designer for my digital design projects. As a ‘digital designer’ I use the principles of line, shape, colour, balance, symmetry, typography — to combine words and images in order to communicate information or ideas.
A good digital designed website will tell us what your business is about, where to find your business and how to get into contact. A well-designed website can do more than just present information about your business. It can make things happen.
A well-designed website can make the information within easier to read, it inspires one to visit your brick and mortar store, and buy your product as opposed to your competitor.
