Johanna Goodman’s Catalogue of Imaginary Beings

Johanna Goodman has been creating collages and portraits since the 1990s. Her illustrations have appeared in Time, Rolling Stone and Le Monde as well as the New Yorker. In 2015, she began a personal experiment, creating images of people ‘dressed’ in unusual outfits.

Goodman, a Philadelphia artist creates sculptural wall pieces that are whimsical and serious.  She has also has made portrait pieces using ‘found’ chairs the result of flea market shopping and dumpster diving.  These particular works have been stuffed, painted and applied with a variety of mixed media including fabric, ribbon heads and handmade paper.

Simon studied graphic design at Shillington College and specialises in web design for small and medium size businesses.
