The photographs were taken by Pierre Chivoret of Illustrator Mlle Hipolyte . For the past few years, Mlle has been featured on the blog brwnpaperbag.com with her intricate cut paper art.  Mlle is a freelance paper designer and illustrator based in France.  Her paper pieces represent the fragility of the underwater ecosystem. Coral bleaching due to global warming and rising ocean temperatures endanger these beautiful ecosystems.
