For those of you who have been following along with Mandy Moore’s new home project, it appears that it is finally complete, though she’s “not quite used to it yet.”
The This Is Us star chatted with PEOPLE about the extensive project, which took over a year from construction to moving day to the finishing touches on decor, which she’s shared with her Instagram followers.
“It doesn’t feel real coming home at the end of the day and waking up in the morning like, ‘Wow, I live here?!'” she told the publication. “I’m just not quite used to it yet.”
She worked with designer (and bonafide #WCW) Sarah Sherman Samuel on the project, and both of them have been sharing the process with hashtag #mandymooresmidcenturymaison. In a February Instagram post, Sherman Samuel noted that the home was “ready for its close up”, and that she’d eventually be sharing a full tour. There’s currently a look at one of the guest bedrooms on her blog.
And if you’re wondering if she’s managed to keep that pristine pantry of hers organized, well, she’s trying. “I’m trying to keep my bathroom and my house in general as clean as possible and as organized as possible,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s a struggle, but I try to be neat.” Perhaps our Spring Clean series might help?
