This 1930s house in Austin may no longer be home, but I sure want to live here. A former barber shop, and before that (presumably) a regular old house, this building has recently been transformed into the Cute Nail Studio, a business opened with the idea to “create a place that celebrates artistry and provides an all-inclusive safe space for beauty treatments.” “The studio’s reinvented 1930s bungalow was designed in conjunction with Austin-based interior design firm Unhinged Studio to bring a flood of fun and colour to Austin’s East Side and was influenced as much by the owners’ childhoods in Austin as it was by the music videos of Japanese singer Kyary Pomyu Pomyu.
