This contemporary carriage house renovation project was commissioned by Butler Armsden Architects, gracing one of the largest city lots in the Pacific Heights neighbourhood of San Francisco, California. After a family purchased the Italianate Victorian home—which dates back to 1870—they set out to renovate the 1920s carriage house in the rear of the property, which sat dilapidated from years of neglect.
