HZA Designs A Rest Stop Overlooking The Norwegian Sea

Oslo-based studio Haugen/Zohar Arkitekter ’ s latest addition to the Norwegian coastline proves that public toilets don’t have to be an eyesore. The Ureddplassen Rest Stop sits in northern Norway in the region of Gildeskål. Situated at the head of a fjord, overlooking the Norwegian Sea and the snow-capped mountains of the Lofoten Wall, it is a place popular amongst locals and travellers alike — famed for the vista it offers of the Northern Lights in winter, and the midnight sun in summer.
