Max Gradl is a German architect painter, graphic artist and designer. He was born in Dillingen an der Donau.

Between the 1888 and 1892 he studied at Kunsgewerbeschule, Munich under Theodore Spiess.

He worked at the publishing house Alexandr koch, Darmstadt. His industrial designs and drawings appeared in Decorative Models and the Modern Style, he was the artistic advisor to Theodor Fahrner, although his work there was not marked to indicate his authorship.

His work was shown at the 1903 ‘Fine Metals Exhibition,’ Stuggart.
